Rick Sabatino builds stronger organizations and teams by leveraging the best of people, processes, and technology to enable performance and realize results. For example, he created a training program to improve a regional bank’s customer relationship management processes, resulting in growth of $10M over plan during the year following rollout.
Rick’s multidisciplinary experience in organizational change and development, business strategy, software product development, and information technology allows him to facilitate collaboration across diverse areas of his clients’ organizations, helping them succeed when adopting increasingly digital business models and offerings. He not only understands how to help people adopt new systems and master new behaviors, but has first-hand experience designing and developing the business technologies that are part digital transformation.
Rick joined West Monroe after leading product management for a small learning technology company. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa and his Master of Arts in Communications Studies from Texas State University. He is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP).
Rick believes in the importance of developing people to realize the value of digital transformation. He has pursued different paths to support this challenge, including a Master’s degree focused on instructional and organizational communication, training as an executive coach, and volunteering with organizations focused on personal and professional growth. Rick Sabatino even trained as a Firewalking Instructor with Tolly Burkan, the godfather of firewalking in the US and the man who taught Tony Robbins. Rick skillfully draws on these diverse experiences and perspectives to help clients find practical, innovative ways to move their organizations forward.
Rick volunteers as a facilitator and advisor with the ManKind Project, a global organization that offers experiential training and support groups for men to help create a safer world for all. Rick is also a founding member of the Association of Change Management Professionals and has been a speaker at global and regional conferences.
