Alumni Spotlight: Maheshie Cabraal, Maven Clinic

Empowering people to do fulfilling work is our first priority, no matter where their career journey takes them. We caught up with Maheshie, a former senior consultant with our Mergers & Acquisitions practice.

Alumni Spotlight: Maheshie Cabraal, Maven Clinic

Maheshie Cabraal works in business operations at Maven, a women’s and family healthcare company that provides end-to-end coverage for all paths to parenthood, including egg freezing, fertility, maternity, adoption, surrogacy, return-to-work, breast milk shipping, and early pediatrics. In her role, she is responsible for supporting the sales and client success teams, working cross-functionally to improve and scale business processes, and managing the company's Salesforce instance.

Maheshie was drawn to Maven because of its mission to fill the gaps in women’s and family healthcare, and help women stay in the workforce while starting families. “An important question to ask when I was considering a start-up was does the CEO truly and unwaveringly believe in this mission?” said Maheshie. “After meeting (and now working with for more than a year) CEO Kate Ryder, I knew it was true.”

I met some of the best humans I know at West Monroe, and the level of satisfaction I got from successfully completing a project with a strong team is unparalleled.

As a member of the M&A team in New York, Maheshie says she learned what it means to work hard, rely on your team, and enjoy what you do. “I met some of the best humans I know at West Monroe, and the level of satisfaction I got from successfully completing a project with a strong team is unparalleled.” West Monroe recently started offering Maven to its employees as part of its recent investment in family-friendly benefits, and we look forward to continuing to work with Maheshie in a new capacity.
