West Monroe’s Brian Paulen Named to Board of The First Tee of Greater Seattle

West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consultancy, today announced that Brian Paulen, a director in the firm’s Seattle office, has been named to the Board of Directors of The First Tee of Greater Seattle.

The First Tee is an internationally respected organization that impacts the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

“It is an honor to be able to serve in this capacity for an organization that has had a tremendous impact on such a large base of youth in our community,” said Paulen. “I am excited to have this opportunity to extend West Monroe Partners’ involvement in the Puget Sound community—and I’m particularly eager to work with our board, our directors, and others on events surrounding next year’s US Open in Seattle.”

The First Tee of Greater Seattle and The First Tee of South Puget Sound are joining forces to host the Fore the Future Gala on June 20, 2015, in conjunction with the 2015 US Open. All funds raised will help promote The First Tee’s character education programs. The First Tee serves more than 80,000 youth in King and Pierce County. The chapters are organizing a round of golf at Chambers Bay, site of the 2015 US Open, on June 17, 2014, to share and promote sponsorship opportunities for the 2015 gala.

Paulen joined West Monroe Partners with its acquisition of Madrona Solutions Group, a Seattle-based consultancy he co-founded in July 2005 that helped mid-market and enterprise-sized clients build customer relationship management solutions on the Dynamics CRM and Salesforce.com platforms.

West Monroe Partners announced an ambitious social and environmental responsibility commitment in early 2011. Following on the leadership efforts of its clients and business partners, West Monroe strives to contribute one percent of its talent in pro-bono work, one percent of its profits in donations to qualifying organizations, and one percent of its collective personnel time to community engagement and leadership activities.
