West Monroe Adds Enhanced Offerings to Managed Services Practices

West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consultancy, today announced that it has extended the capabilities of its managed services and IT outsourcing practice - WMP FITServices.

SharePoint Platinum Support includes ongoing assistance following initial implementation, including infrastructure and database maintenance and support for additional development, configuration, and platform enhancements.

Disaster recovery testing and management services help clients maintain up-to-date disaster recovery plans and processes as well as regular testing cycles—capabilities that are particularly important in industries subject to increased regulatory supervision, such as Capital Markets, Financial Services and Healthcare. West Monroe’s disaster recovery services include incorporating new systems into disaster recovery infrastructure as they come online, conducting regular testing and remediating issues, updating disaster recovery documentation, and enhancing plans as hosting solutions evolve.

In addition, West Monroe now extends support beyond establishment of software asset management processes by conducting ongoing compliance activities, as well as software request management, metering and usage, software deployment, patching, and recycling activities to manage the entire hardware and software platform lifecycle.

“As our middle-market clients’ operations become more complex and these organizations deal with new regulatory and compliance mandates and other issues, we’ve seen a corresponding increase in demand for IT support in areas that they typically don’t have the resources and technical expertise to run and manage on an ongoing basis,” said Mark Nelson, director of managed services and IT outsourcing practice. “Accordingly, we have added additional resources and skill sets to our team to assist with evolving needs such as SharePoint maintenance and disaster recovery management, and we will continue to add new capabilities as market demand warrants.”
