She helped one client develop and launch a virtual care offering to serve an estimated 400,000 additional lives within the existing portfolio, increasing revenue by over $200 million annually.
She has spent her entire career working with hospitals and health systems on operational and performance improvement. Most recently, her work involved defining and designing the capabilities required to enable digital tools and services to improve the patient experience and expand access to high-quality healthcare.
Her track record for driving change derives from her proven ability to implement best practices, improve workflow, communicate with leadership, analyze data, stay relevant with applicable rules and regulations, and track and report progress.
Valerie joined West Monroe in 2020. Previously, she held leadership roles with Redwood Logistics, Provident Management Consulting, and Huron Consulting Group. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a law degree from DePaul University—early in her career, she was a healthcare transactional and regulatory compliance associate. She is a member of the bar in Missouri and Illinois.

She serves on the board of a local nonprofit, Share Our Spare, which provides essentials for children newborn to 5 years old. She is also active in several healthcare professional associations.
