Successful transformation requires the ability to remain focused on business impact and results, even when things get complicated. This is where Scott’s experience—and enthusiasm—shines. He helped one organization reduce its IT budget by 19% while successfully maintaining service levels and introducing new services. For another, he discovered and solved enterprise business problems contributing to 5% revenue leakage – and recovered 90% of that revenue within two years.

Scott’s formula for success starts with a unique ability to both set strategy and operationalize it, all with business acumen and a customer focus. His unique background means he can lead conversations with the C-suite and board, as well as with IT hardware and software engineers. He has led or participated in dozens of divestitures and acquisitions on both the buy and sell side. And, he is an empathic leader with a passion for growth and a focus on mentoring the next generation of leaders.

He joined West Monroe after spending the previous four years in contract or interim C-level roles – including COO, CIO, and CTO – for high growth companies. Previously, he was global chief operating officer for Fruition Partners’ ServiceNow practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago and an MBA and master’s degree in strategic management from Indiana University.

What makes Scott different

Scott brings relentless energy to everything he does, both personally and professionally. He enjoys movies, fitness, and time outdoors with his family. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hiking, rock-climbing, and kayaking, and has tackled three of the Seven Summits so far.

Where Scott makes an impact

He has saved two lives – one in a mountain rescue of an injured friend and the other by donating stem cells as a match for a teenager with a critical illness. In his “downtime,” he is a volunteer with youth hockey and baseball organizations and an adjunct faculty professor teaching project management at a local college.
