Sam invests deeply in developing client relationships because he knows it drives better results and value for the organizations he serves. He’s seen that investment pay off, time and time again. He negotiated and restructured $1.3 billion worth of IT contracts for a consumer and industrial products client, generating approximately 40% savings on total IT spend over a five-year period. He has also led several large-ticket outsourcing deals, using his relationships with top-tier suppliers to obtain favorable deals for his clients.

His focus includes IT and business process sourcing strategy, supplier governance, and vendor management operations. His extensive experience spans global service delivery models, including information technology and business process outsourcing, knowledge process outsourcing, centers of excellence, contact centers, and shared services with a focus on IT services, procurement, human resources, and customer service management. 

He joined West Monroe from Pace Harmon, where he was a director. He previously held roles with IBM Global and Deloitte Consulting. He holds an MBA in international management from Middlebury College – Monterey Institute.

He is a voracious reader when time allows. He is fond of traveling and experiencing local cultures. He has lived in 17 countries and visited 58 countries. Closer to home, he loves the proximity of the Texas Gulf Coast and the amazing seafood available there.

He is passionate about building sustainable team relationships and leveraging multidisciplinary skillsets to deliver greater value, while building a strong and dependable team. Most of the teams he works with have supported the same clients for years—contributing to their trusted relationships. 

He has mentored and coached more than 25 colleagues on an ongoing basis, working with them to cultivate client relationship development capabilities, as well as contract negotiation, documentation, and sourcing skills.
