Peter has had a strong hand in West Monroe’s growth, leading multidisciplinary teams to find and evaluate acquisition targets that complement the overall strategy and firm culture. Since 2013, he has led the firm’s acquisition and divestiture activities, including sourcing, valuation/deal structure, negotiations, business case development, due diligence and integration Collectively, these acquisitions have added key capabilities and industry expertise to provide a broader range of services to West Monroe’s clients.

He has spent considerable time on multiples sides of a merger and acquisition lifecycle. His experience includes helping entrepreneurs raise Series A capital for technology startups, providing sell-side support for middle market consumer products companies and buy-side support for both financial (private equity) and strategic (corporate) buyers.

Prior to joining West Monroe in 2013, he was an investment banker at D.A. Davidson & Co. and held various positions at the Alliance of Angels, Intellectual Ventures and Washington Mutual. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA degree from the University of Washington. 

What makes Peter different

Peter lives in Seattle with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, you may find him playing basketball, tennis or trying his best to “play” golf. He loves to travel, cook, and try to new experiences. 

Where Peter makes an impact

He is an active member of the board of directors of Business Impact Northwest (BIN), a nonprofit community development financial institution dedicated to serving underbanked entrepreneurs, with an emphasis on working with traditionally underserved populations. He was recently named head of the governance committee, tasked with revamping the board structure, advising on three-year strategy, and overseeing multimillion-dollar investment decisions.
