Highly experienced as both a consultant and operator, he provides the vision, execution, and expertise across technology, strategy, and business operations to drive transformational growth and optimal performance. His experience includes aligning IT cybersecurity and compliance with business strategy and delivering diligences or assessments and strategy as part of mergers and acquisitions.
Dean is comfortable transitioning among the disciplines of IT strategy, operations, cybersecurity, and compliance – enabling him to address complex, multifaceted challenges. Furthermore, his diverse career experience allows him to rapidly understand new businesses and industries.
He rejoined West Monroe in 2021 after several years as chief operating officer and chief information security officer with ARCSys, a provider of SaaS offerings that addresses financial institutions’ operational challenges and compliance obligations. Earlier in his career, he was director of information technology and infrastructure strategy for Delta Dental of Virginia. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University and an MBA from Northeastern University.

Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, Dean lived there until his teen years and speaks Spanish fluently. He is an avid tennis player and mountain biker.
