Craig turns his unique perspectives about optimizing IT service delivery and vendor management – honed through years of experience as an IT executive for Fortune 500 companies – into tangible value. For example, he helped a financial services company save $300 million – approximately 20% – over five years.
An influential IT infrastructure specialist, he has had a leadership role in many complex programs: global technology deployments, major merger and acquisition integrations, offshoring and outsourcing, and significant cost reduction programs for global enterprises operating in the United States, Asia, Europe, and South America. Altogether, he has provided leadership for over $2 billion in IT services contracts and nearly the same amount in IT managed services.
Having managed large IT budgets and service delivery teams, he understands the technical challenges that today’s IT leaders face and how to manage service delivery risk effectively. He’s also right at home leading change – driving innovative and creative ways to run IT as a business and introducing commercial market dynamics that improve service delivery.
He joined West Monroe from Pace Harmon, where he was a director. Previously, he held technology leadership roles with Aon, Bank of America, and ABN AMRO. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois.
What makes Craig different
His work managing global teams and deploying technology and services has taken him to more than 100 countries on six continents. But where does he most like to go when it’s for fun? That would be the Greek islands.
His other pastimes include golfing, fishing, and off-roading. He enjoys living in Chicago’s suburbs, where he is far enough from the city for peace and quiet but close enough to enjoy the city’s culture and world-class restaurants.
