Merger and acquisition success hinges on many factors. One of those is effectively managing the multitude of strategic sourcing arrangements and details involved. That’s where Brad comes in. He draws on significant M&A experience – including multiple spin-offs for a $50 billion Fortune 50 enterprise – to help clients both optimize costs and enable future strategy.

He understands how to navigate the complexity that is often involved – because he has been there. He managed and executed the contract and asset assignments for more than 1,000 suppliers. He assessed the cost impact of asset transfers and negotiated with suppliers to optimize costs for each entity. And he created a way to track contract and asset dispositions and status for multiple M&A and divestiture activities.

Brad has also helped multiple Fortune 100 companies – across many industries – transition to new service providers. In particular, he makes sure vendor management teams are equipped with the knowledge and processes to manage complex outsourcing relationships and deliver their intended value.

He joined West Monroe from Pace Harmon, where he was a senior associate. Previously, he participated in the launch of Avendra LLC, a leading procurement services company in the hospitality industry with $3 billion in annual purchasing volume. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Delaware and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

What makes Brad different

Away from work, Brad enjoys hiking, biking, swimming, and attending music concerts and festivals. He was married in Bermuda and travels whenever possible with his family, including three children.

Where Brad makes an impact

Just as he does for his clients, Brad aims to make a positive impact on his own organization and the people around him. It’s not unusual to find him recruiting new talent, mentoring and counseling junior colleagues, or contributing to development of our vendor governance methodologies, tools, and capabilities.
