Veterans Committee’s Mission
Veterans Committee’s mission is to support our military service members and their families by raising awareness of Veteran issues, channeling the support of our employees to Veteran causes, and positioning West Monroe as a proactive employer of Veterans.
Transitioning to my first ‘real job’ after military, West Monroe has been a very comfortable place to go. The pace is fast, the expectations are high, and camaraderie is extremely important. While the work or the stakes may not be the same, there are similar success factors. We have a very open and accepting culture and value people from all experiences of walks of life at West Monroe.

Being the Executive Sponsor of the Veterans Committee has allowed me in a small way to give back to our heroes who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms – allowing us to do all the wonderful things we do for our employees and local communities. Working with our Veterans has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges our Veterans and their families face and to appreciate how diverse and inclusive the military is; which we hopefully can replicate more broadly in our local and professional communities.

Attracting and retaining Veterans
Collaborate with West Monroe's People team to strategize, plan, and conduct Veteran-tailored recruiting initiatives for both campus and experienced hire groups
Cultivating a supportive Veterans community and network
Facilitate recurring community meetings and firmwide events to create an environment where Veterans feel connected to West Monroe, both amongst other Veterans and the firm's broader community
Facilitating talent growth
Strive to instill a culture of continuous improvement within the Veterans community and the broader organization by providing mentorship and direction to further develop career interests
