Our discovery phase covered end-to-end platform integration, customer data centralization, and workflow automation. First, we deployed the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud to empower relationship managers with real-time insights, driving targeted, data-informed customer engagement. Then, the nCino Loan Origination System streamlined processes for faster loan approvals. Each platform was strategically designed to elevate customer experiences and generate immediate, measurable value by improving both speed and capacity across all operations.
The project brought together West Monroe’s cross-functional expertise—finance, customer experience, technology, and integration specialists. Together with the bank’s team, we led the end-to-end development, testing, and deployment of the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and the nCino Loan Origination System. By integrating Azure for a single source of customer data and implementing MuleSoft for seamless connectivity, we ensured that all systems worked harmoniously. Our agile approach accelerated the bank’s ability to process $1.4 billion in loans within 90 days. This transformation was achieved through a collaborative, co-creative effort that optimized operations, empowered employees, and strengthened the bank’s competitive advantage.

The bank’s new nCino Loan Origination System processed over 317 loans, totaling $1.4 billion in volume within 90 days. Enabled by a streamlined, API-connected environment through MuleSoft, City National Bank is on track to generate $50 million in additional revenue. This transformation not only supports growth but also equips the bank to deliver sustained, data-driven customer experiences well into the future.
