He helped a consumer products client identify more than $10 million in annual benefits across material savings, labor productivity, IT spend, and overhead reduction. He was recognized by Consulting Magazine as a “Rising Star of the Profession” (35 under 35) in 2016 for Excellence in Client Service.
Sam is passionate about helping manufacturers address workforce challenges, especially the need to attract and retain top talent. He has been published several times offering unique insights on this topic.
A results-driven business leader and culture champion, Sam fosters multi-disciplinary collaboration and serial innovation, mentors younger consultants, and organizes team-building activities.
Sam joined West Monroe in 2011 after earning a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Sam played college baseball and holds the Miami University record for career pitching appearances. He also roots for the Ohio State Buckeyes and in his free time cooks, bakes, and plays strategy board games.
Known for his intrapreneurship at West Monroe, Sam was instrumental in launching our Minneapolis office and growing it to more than 100 people today. Sam is currently the lead for the Consumer & Industrial Products team in Minneapolis, which has grown from four at its launch in 2019 to 15 today. Sam also leads several of our foundational training courses for both campus hires and experienced managers.
