With over 30 years of experience as an energy industry executive, consultant, thought leader and educator, Paul leads business and technology applications that address the needs of an industry in transition.

As a leader at West Monroe, Paul challenges teams to envision, innovate, create, and deliver. Generous, enthusiastic and caring, he elevates those around him, sharing knowledge and mentoring his peers.

Paul joined West Monroe from Long Island Power Authority, where he served as managing director for contract oversight and previously as vice president of power markets. He earned a bachelor’s degree from State University of New York College at Brockport, a master’s degree from the University at Albany, and an MBA from The Sage Graduate Schools.

What makes Paul different

Outside of work, Paul spends time with family, including grandkids. He luxuriates in the outdoors, hiking, snowshoeing, and kayaking in the mountains and lakes that are easily accessible from his residence in Ballston Spa, New York.

Where Paul makes an impact

Paul invests great energy in academics, industry and not-for-profit organizations. He is a board member with the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center at Stony Brook University and Delta Institute of Chicago. He is an editorial board member of the Wiley Publishing Climate and Energy Journal, and the Springer Energy Efficiency Journal, and member of Montclair Publishing LLC “Who’s Who in North America." He has published dozens of articles and papers on topics ranging from renewable energy to energy efficiency, performance management and evaluation, energy independence, and policy.

Paul was named one of New York City & State’s “Responsible 100” recognizing 100 of New York’s most outstanding corporate citizens, executives, thought leaders, visionaries, and influencers in promoting the core principles of social responsibility: charity, community engagement, customer service, diversity and inclusion, equity, ethics, transparency, sustainability, and volunteerism. He was also named to Crain’s New York 2022 Notable Leader in Accounting & Consulting, a prestigious award honoring consultants and accountants in New York City and their recent accomplishments.
