Daniel Ferris

Dan is dedicated to helping West Monroe achieve strategic growth through both organic initiatives and acquisitions. drawing on his extensive experience in corporate strategy and private equity.

He currently serves as a Principal at Avance Investment Management and brings a strong investing and value-creation lens from his prior role as a Principal in BDT & MSD Partners’ Private Capital Group, as well as earlier experience at Searchlight Capital Partners and Evercore. Across his career, Dan has focused on accelerating value creation for companies spanning technology, media, and communications.

In addition to his investing work, Dan serves on the boards of ArcOne AI, RIA Advisory, and Nutrisystem, where he supports leadership teams on strategy, growth, and transformation. He holds a degree in global economics from Western University in Canada.

An avid adventurer, Dan enjoys snowboarding, surfing, and rock climbing. He also mentors first-generation students in Canada, helping them pursue careers in finance and technology.
