Dan knows a little something about running a cohesive, high-performing finance organization in a changing marketplace, with operations across diverse locations and cultures. For nearly two decades, he led most aspects of finance for a public wireless communications services business in Latin America, including the last four years as CFO.

As West Monroe’s CFO, he heads a highly tenured finance team that supports our unique ownership structure, and facilitates the ability to invest in new capabilities and partnerships that distinguish our services—while also guiding the right steps to increase efficiencies, improve processes, and leverage automation.

Over his career, Dan has held direct responsibility for all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, treasury, capital structure and liquidity, taxation, investor relations and corporate development.

Prior to joining West Monroe, Dan was CFO of JSI, a technology driven consulting firm that provides broadband solutions to U.S. based communications companies. Previously, he was CFO of NII Holdings, Inc. (formerly Nextel International), a wireless communications provider that operated in Latin America. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA with a concentration in finance. Treasury and Risk Magazine once recognized him as one of the 40 top business leaders under the age of 40.

What makes Dan different

Dan strongly believes that the finance organization should be a close business partner to the organization – empowering everyone to be effective and deliver the best experience to the firm’s clients. When Dan is not rooting for his favorite Washington area sports teams or his beloved Terps, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and traveling. Earlier in his career, Dan traveled frequently to Latin America, including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, and Chile.

Where Dan makes an impact

Dan’s success doesn’t just come from mastering the mechanics of global finance—it’s also a product of his ability to build relationships and nurture the human elements of business. He believes the best results happen in an environment where people communicate openly. Over time, he has cultivated unique skills for connecting effectively and building trust across borders—built on respect for and understanding of the differences between cultures.
