Dan Belmont

Dan leads West Monroe’s Energy & Utilities industry and also serves as a client strategy leader, focused on deepening and expanding relationships with the firm’s largest and longest-standing clients. With more than three decades of industry experience, Dan drives innovative strategies that combine deep industry knowledge with cutting-edge technology to modernize the grid and streamline operations. In his client strategy role, he is accountable for growing long-term client value—aligning West Monroe’s capabilities to evolving client priorities and ensuring consistent, high-impact outcomes over time. 

Dan has helped deliver tangible results for some of the nation’s largest utilities, including enabling a $5 million annual cost reduction for a leading investor-owned utility. Before joining West Monroe in 2008, Dan founded and sold db3 Broadband, LLC. He holds a degree from Northern Illinois University and certifications from the University of Chicago and Yale. 

Dan’s All-In Mindset

Dan actively supports his daughters’ high school as a business incubator mentor and fundraising volunteer. Earlier in his career, he conquered his fear of heights by free climbing 300-foot telecommunication towers.
