DALLAS – West Monroe Partners, a national business and technology consultancy, today announced that it has been named one of the Dallas Business Journal’s 2019 Best Places to Work in North Texas. West Monroe ranked third among medium-sized companies with 50 to 249 employees in the region. The award honors the top 100 businesses in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with the highest rankings in employee satisfaction, company culture, and overall benefits.
West Monroe is one of 36 companies appearing on the list for the first time. The Dallas Business Journal announced the list of best workplaces on July 24 and honored them at an event yesterday.
“As an organization whose mission is centered on building the next generation of leaders, the quality of our workplace is extremely important to us. This award reflects the care and attention our Dallas colleagues have put into building a winning culture in just a few short years,” said Tom Hulsebosch, senior managing director and leader of West Monroe’s Dallas office. “We are pleased that our vision of a strong employee-driven culture, employee ownership, and leadership in our community has been recognized among the exceptional companies in this dynamic business market.”
West Monroe’s Dallas office is one of nine offices nationwide. The company entered the market in 2015 and has since grown the Dallas office to more than 75 employees. It serves clients in the energy and utilities, financial services, healthcare and life sciences, consumer and industrial products, and other industries across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
Like all West Monroe offices, the Dallas office maintains a highly participatory and collaborative culture marked by an open work environment, frequent team-building events, and a strong commitment to serving the local community. The office relocated to One Arts Plaza in January 2019, following an announcement in 2018 of plans to triple its local workforce over the next five years.
“We are thrilled to be included among the top workplaces in North Texas and extremely proud of what our team is building together. This award is particularly gratifying because it is based on feedback from our people and reflective of their pride in being part of this organization,” said Adam Gersting, senior director and Technology practice leader for the region. “Our rapid growth is creating exceptional opportunities for business consulting and technology professionals to join our team at all levels and continue to develop as leaders and stewards of the business.”
Nationally, West Monroe has been recognized among top workplaces by Consulting® magazine, Great Place to Work® Institute and FORTUNE, and Crain’s, among others. The company earned 26 awards in 2018 for its people-first culture.
This is the publication’s 17th annual best workplace award program. The Dallas Business Journal’s Best Places to Work results are divided into five categories based on company size and measured by employee responses from an anonymous employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace. Award recipients are determined based on an indexed score created from the survey response. The complete list of recognized companies is available here.
