When the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) opened the door to $1.2 trillion in federal funding, competition for grants became intense. Utilities and other organizations turned to West Monroe for expert guidance to secure funding for critical initiatives in grid resilience, broadband, and clean energy. By leveraging deep industry knowledge and strategic insight, we helped more than a dozen clients secure over $730 million in federal funds—far surpassing industry averages for grant success. This funding accelerated project timelines by an average of five years while lowering implementation costs for customers and ratepayers.
