West Monroe was one of 65 companies honored by Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, with a 2019 North American Candidate Experience (CandE) award. More than 170 companies registered to participate in the 2019 CandE Awards program, which ultimately collected the thoughts and experiences of over 195,000 job candidates.

Winners of the CandE awards are identified through a comprehensive data analysis based on their job candidates’ satisfaction survey scores. Survey respondents include both candidates who were hired and not hired. The final analysis included four key questions that had a significant impact on determining the winners: the candidates’ overall ranking of their candidate experience, the likelihood that they would reapply to the organization, whether or not they would refer other job seekers to the organization and how the candidates would change their business relationship status with the organization going forward based on their experience.

“We’re honored to once again be recognized for providing a high-quality candidate experience for those seeking employment with West Monroe,” said Kelly Penry, director of West Monroe’s Talent Acquisition function.

“We know that interviewing is a two-way street and that candidates need to assess a potential employer as much as we need to assess them. By providing an exceptional experience during the recruiting process, we strive to demonstrate how we can both contribute to each other’s success.”

Honorees will be recognized at the 2019 Talent Board North American Candidate Experience Awards Symposium & Awards Gala in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 14, 2019.

“The CandE Awards research has proven that positive candidate experiences lead to positive hiring outcomes, which often have positive business implications,” said Gerry Crispin, Talent Board co-founder and principal and chief navigator at CareerXroads. “This year’s CandE Awards winners have again demonstrated their commitment to upholding this practice and we are delighted to recognize their work advancing the recruiting process.”
