"On behalf of my colleagues in San Francisco, I can say it is an honor to be recognized among the standout companies in San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area by The San Francisco Chronicle,” said Steven Kirz, San Francisco Office Lead.

I extend my sincere appreciation to our entire office for the passion they exhibit in collaborating and innovating to benefit our clients and the San Francisco community. This award validates how our mission of service in a people-first culture can create an ideal work environment in the professional services industry.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

West Monroe’s San Francisco office opened in 2016 and still maintains its entrepreneurial spirit, yet serves some of the West Coast’s largest banks, healthcare payers, and utilities, focusing on customer experience and M&A. Like all West Monroe’s offices, the San Francisco office maintains a highly participatory and collaborative culture marked by an open work environment; frequent team-building events, a strong commitment to serving the local community through its social responsibility program. In particular, the office focus on organizations that serve a diverse range of residents in the city such as Project Open Hand and San Francisco Recreation and Parks.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

The actual rankings were revealed at an awards ceremony on August 10, 2023.
