Victor strives to solve health inequities and improve patient and provider experience—and his passion shows in the results of his work. He designed an enterprise patient access operating model for an academic medical center that didn’t just improve patient experience—it is expected to deliver a net margin benefit of $600 million over five years. He has also created corporate growth and market entry strategies for several integrated health systems, large health services companies, health payers and life sciences companies.
Victor started his career in healthcare shortly after the enactment of the HITECH Act which promoted the use of electronic health records, so he has witnessed the evolution of this space first-hand. He leans on his diverse experiences to create strategic growth plans, design future-ready operating models, and develop new offerings that drive different experiences and outcomes, across the entire care continuum.
He joined West Monroe from Accenture’s Health Strategy practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
Victor loves exploring new cultures, and counts Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Iceland among his favorite destinations. Closer to home, he and his husband enjoy gardening and home improvements as well as exploring the lakes and growing restaurant and microbrewery/distillery community in the Twin Cities.
A strong proponent of inclusive leadership, he led inclusion and diversity initiatives and the Pride Employee Resource Group for five years when with his former firm.
Today, he is active in the community as a volunteer with Aeon, where he helps create and sustain affordable homes that strengthen lives and communities. He is also a frequent event volunteer for FINNEGANS Community Fund, which aims to alleviate hunger, including pouring beer for Beer Dabbler events for over 10 years.
