Created with Lunacy

We pride ourselves on being a disruptor in the consulting profession, and Tyson is at the center of how we do that. He drives digital disruption within our work by creating assets and tools that enable us to solve complex challenges and respond to changes in the market landscape. The impact of that for our clients is simple: better insight and faster outcomes.

A trusted leader and technology strategist, he heads Intellio® Labs, a start-up business within West Monroe that builds our proprietary assets, software, and tools – initially surfaced from employees’ ideas and advanced through our innovation process. This role allows him to focus solely on building assets based on technology trends, in collaboration with our technology and industry leaders. His curiosity and passion for learning are evident in the work he does.

In addition to driving greater impact for clients, Intellio® assets also fuel our own growth: they influenced $26 million in revenue in 2020. Few firms are as serious as we are about deriving value from such assets. Tyson sees this as the way to fund continuous innovation.

Prior to joining our team, he was global chief technology officer at Avanade. He was a founding member of the joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture that launched Avanade. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.

What makes Tyson different

Tyson’s hobbies include fitness, wine tasting, cooking and 3D printing. He also bungee-jumped out of a gondola in Switzerland, although it was many years ago.

Where Tyson makes an impact

Tyson has driven innovation for multibillion-dollar technology portfolios and launched high-profit entrepreneurial ventures inside of enterprise-level corporations.
