Complex, high-stakes transactions require sound financial guidance and an experienced hand. That’s where Tom comes in. He created a forecast model to support a $240 million bond offering for a strategic acquisition, including financial schedules for the bond offering memorandum. In another engagement, he led the $30 million carveout of a life sciences business with international operations, eliminating acquisition debt by Year 3 through the divestiture of a major product line.

Tom has a track record for optimizing business operations to drive growth and maximize business value. To do so, he draws on a broad background that includes finance leadership, financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, operations, systems implementation, and M&A carveouts and integrations—as well as productivity improvement and change management.

Having several decades of financial leadership with regional and multinational companies, he knows how to integrate quickly with project teams to accelerate value. His leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills enable him to establish rapport with investors, lenders, and all levels of staff and management.

Prior to joining West Monroe in 2022, he spent more than three decades in finance and accounting roles—several as chief financial officer or controller—in diverse industries, including construction, life sciences, manufacturing, and media and entertainment. He holds a degree in accounting from California State University, Northridge and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
