With more than 30 years of experience guiding financial institutions through change, Roger leads strategy, operational improvement, digital, and technology projects for middle market and larger financial institutions.

Roger’s exposure across banking sales, operations, and service for Consumer, Commercial, and Private Bank groups, provides him with the unique ability to deliver truly enterprise-wide solutions. This insight makes Roger an especially versatile and effective consultant, capable of understanding the needs of all stakeholders and delivering impactful results both for financial institutions and their customers.

In addition to client work, Roger enjoys mentoring younger consultants to help them clarify their career goals, refine their skills, and find work-life balance.

Prior to joining West Monroe, Roger led an internal consulting organization at BMO Harris Bank. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

What makes Roger different

Roger’s mission outside of work is to be the best role model, mentor, and father to his two young daughters. He is from a very large family, with 69 first cousins on his mother's side alone. Roger and his family live in Lake Forest, Illinois, a wooded community about 30 miles north of Chicago that served as inspiration for F. Scott Fitzgerald's “The Great Gatsby.”

Where Roger makes an impact

As part of a $750 million merger budget, Roger led the integration of the Commercial organizations of two regional banks, successfully doubling the size of bank operations, increasing loan volume by 128% and net income by 279%.
