Growing up, Rissa was not allowed to use coloring books. Her mother, an artist, believed in the importance of drawing your own lines and coloring within—or outside—of them. Not surprisingly, Rissa is comfortable with a blank piece of paper – taking on newly created roles and blazing new trails. That’s the mindset she brings as West Monroe’s chief marketing officer, finding innovative ways to facilitate the firm’s next stage of growth.
As CMO, she leads a team of more than 30 people in corporate marketing, industry marketing, client marketing, and marketing services roles whose work directly influences the firm’s strategy and industry-leading growth rate. She directly leverages her entrepreneurial spirit and background to innovate and lead.
Prior to joining West Monroe in 2022, she joined Equifax via the acquisition of PayNet. She and the PayNet leadership team were retained to grow the Equifax commercial business. In 2021, Equifax tapped Reddan to establish the first demand generation function.
Earlier in her career, she was CMO for Performance Trust Capital Partners and deals marketing leader at PwC, where she led marketing for the business responsible for M&A and IPO related services. She began her professional services career in 1993 with Montgomery Financial in Silicon Valley. She earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Rissa is a cinemaphile who loves movies in the park and movies on the plane, classic movies and screwball comedies. When she watched “The Royal Tenenbaums” for the first time, she felt like she had found her people. She is also the lead singer for The everyAnythings, a cover band that plays a little bit of anything and everything.
Her passions include the arts, education, children, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment – and she finds many ways to promote these interests in the community. A brand ambassador with the Economic Club of Chicago, she has held several committee leadership roles over 16 years. She is on the boards of keepwith (networking), HelloHealth (wellness as a leadership strategy) and the Alpha Omicron Pi Foundation, for which she serves as treasurer. And she remains active at her alma mater as a judge for a social innovation entrepreneurship case competition and an adjunct professor of social media marketing.
