Paul Singer

Senior Manager Advisory & Transformation Washington, D.C.

Created with Lunacy

An analytical problem solver and creative deal shaper, Paul knows how to turn partnerships into tangible value. He has negotiated over $100 million in savings while improving finance and accounting, customer care, procurement, and other business processes. This includes business process outsourcing strategy and assessment projects that identified millions of dollars in savings and market-leading service level agreements that achieved 20% to 40% savings.

He brings a practical perspective to shaping and closing transactions, grounded in extensive consulting, industry, and operational experience. His ability to listen, observe, and think critically about clients’ needs is his secret sauce for delivering both incremental and transformative innovation.

He joined West Monroe from Pace Harmon, where he was a director. Previously, he held senior positions with Capgemini, EDS, Booz Allen, and Deloitte Consulting – working with companies and government agencies in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. He earned a bachelor’s degree in government from the College of William & Mary, a master’s degree from the University of Southern California, and is in the process of completing a Harvard Business Analytics certificate program (expected 9/21).

What makes Paul different

His penchant for challenges extends outside the office to include invigorating hikes, long bike rides, and other outdoor activities such as kayaking. He enjoys cooking for family and friends and then listening to their stories around the table. At one point in high school, he was fluent in Japanese. His original career plan was to become a ski instructor.

Where Paul makes an impact

He relishes the chance to develop talent by giving people opportunities to perform difficult tasks and challenging them to think critically about the problems they are solving.

While his career has provided him the opportunity to live and work around the world, he was born in Washington, DC, with a strong sense of civic responsibility, volunteerism, and contribution through action to make the world a better place. He serves on the national board of Compass Pro Bono, an organization committed to providing free consulting services to help nonprofits in Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and Chicago build capacity.
