As digital transformation accelerates, companies must be able to deliver digital products and experiences at scale—and do so quickly. That’s where Mike comes in. He co-founded Verys, a provider of custom software development services with a unique “domestic sourcing” model that provides large enterprise clients with a compelling alternative to offshoring.
He believes in attitude and aptitude, with a premium on attitude—and in building a company around world-class human beings, because skills and capabilities can be taught.
Verys wasn’t Mike’s first foray into building a successful digital and IT delivery consultancy. He was one of the earliest employees of UST Global. He reported directly to the founder and CEO and was accountable for all global sales and marketing activities. When he left UST Global 12 years later to found Verys, the company had grown to more than 13,000 associates across North America, Europe, India, and Asia Pacific. He earned a degree in finance from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
What makes Mike different
Born and raised in Southern California, he loves everything about the area, including the weather, people, location, social and professional opportunities, and of course the beach. His hobbies include sports and outdoor activities of all types, traveling, music, and reading.
Where Mike makes an impact
Mike prides himself on developing future business leaders – and also future sports stars. He has coached youth football, basketball, and softball and owns a softball and baseball batting cage complex to support youth sports. He is also the executive sponsor of Verys’s community outreach program, Co-Out, which supports Orange County Rescue Mission, Grandma’s House of Hope, and Habitat for Humanity.
