In an increasingly digital world, customers determine whether to continue a relationship based on the effectiveness of the interaction. That’s where Dan comes in. He uses his expertise in high-performance architecture and data integration to create quality customer interactions—for example, by improving processing time and increasing accuracy. For a mid-sized healthcare payer, he supported the implementation of a new product line offering that expanded the organization’s membership.
Through his work, he has gained particular experience in the healthcare and life sciences sectors and exposure to the challenges faced by companies in those industries.
Prior to joining West Monroe in 2016, he worked on software that supported Nielsen Marketing Analytics’ Marketing Mix Models, including retrospective and predictive modeling and media planning optimization. He earned a degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Louisville.
In his first career, Dan was a professional ballet dancer with the Louisville Ballet for 7 years. Today, he plays and referees ice hockey. He was selected to officiate Illinois state playoff games in 2019 and 2020. He also enjoys travel, especially to London to watch his beloved Chelsea FC.
His true passion is teaching others, and he is always excited when one of the developers on his project solves a difficult or new problem. He extends this love for teaching to extensive public speaking, including international events in Sydney, London, Krakow, and Nuremberg. He delivers meals for Meals on Wheels of Northeastern Illinois every Saturday.
