For companies in transition, technology can unlock new value. Dan holds the key. Drawing on experience in technology strategy and planning, enterprise architecture, complex program management, and software delivery, he solves complex business challenges by defining and enabling investments in cloud, digital and other technologies across industries, including technology, healthcare and life sciences, and entertainment and media.
For a software company, he led an initiative to divest several flagship products. For a government programs-focused dental payer and provider, he defined a future operating model and roadmap for entering new and adjacent markets. And for a cloud services provider, he defined a simplified, future architecture for its go-to-market, contract-to-cash, and reporting and analytics solutions, positioning the company to grow its $10 billion business.
He also leads due diligence and value creation projects that rely on the strategic use of technology for private equity and corporate clients.
Before joining West Monroe as our Los Angeles M&A practice leader, Dan was a private equity and value creation consulting director with Strategy&, part of the PwC network. He also worked at Diamond Management and Technology Consultants and Accenture. He earned a BBA in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University where he graduated with honors.
Dan’s family, including his four children, enjoy the outdoors of Orange County. He is an avid surfer and a fitness and wellness enthusiast, recently taking up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Dan is an active member of his community. He is passionate about inclusion and diversity and has served in leadership roles with Ascend – the nation’s largest Pan-Asian business professionals’ network. He also serves as the communication and information systems leader at his local church.
