Life sciences leaders increasingly rely on an array of evolving digital capabilities to drive strategy, productivity, and growth. That’s where Cortnaye comes in. For a global pharmaceutical manufacturer, she guided commercial performance optimization initiatives – including business process and operating model changes – that produced $19 million in cost savings. And through automation, she delivered $10 million in cost savings by reducing revenue leakage and eliminating manual workload.

Cortnaye focuses on developing patient-centric strategies and solutions for our Life Sciences clients. She employs analytics and artificial intelligence to better understand and leverage patient insights and designs solutions to improve the patient experience, reduce healthcare costs, and improve treatment adherence.

She brings distinctive expertise in commercial strategy, market access, pricing and contracting, – as well as technology. But clients also appreciate her creative and problem-solving capabilities, her ability to cultivate strong relationships, and her unyielding focus on delivering high-quality work within aggressive timelines.

She joined West Monroe from Cognizant, where she was a senior director and leader of the Life Sciences Commercial consulting practice. Previously, she spent nearly 20 years with Deloitte. She earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems and health information management from Saint Louis University.

What makes Cortnaye different

Although she lives in the middle of the country, Cortnaye loves to be near the water. Her family, including three teens, enjoys fishing and boating at their lake house and visiting the Caribbean at least once a year to snorkel and dive. She is a certified SCUBA diver who particularly favors the Cayman Islands.

Where Cortnaye makes an impact

With a passion for helping others achieve their growth potential, she enjoys helping high-potential women develop career plans and executive presence. Outside of work, she volunteers with Catholic Charities and with Cancer Action, including helping with special events and making comfort items.
