Brian Poissant

With more 30 years of business and technology expertise, Brian leads high-impact IT strategy, cloud assessment, migration, and optimization initiatives that enable clients to achieve competitive advantage.

He identified a configuration change that improved the resilience of our client’s SaaS offering and resulted in an annual recurring cost savings of $1.5 million.

As a mentor, Brian emphasizes the importance of empowering our clients to be self-sufficient. High-quality documentation, one-on-one knowledge transfers, and thorough communication with project participants are keys to achieving this goal.

Prior to joining West Monroe, Brian was vice president and senior principal software architect with CA Technologies. He has a bachelor’s degree from Webster University and holds numerous software engineering certifications, including multiple AWS Certifications.

What makes Brian different

Brian spends his free time with family, rock climbing with his son, teaching his daughter to play piano (Brian has played for decades), and enjoying relaxing nights out with his wife. He also builds his own sea kayaks and paddles out to commune with orca whales.

Where Brian makes an impact

For the past five years, Brian has made time to serve as PTA president and challenge master with Destination Imagination Washington, a non-profit, volunteer-led, cause-driven organization. Brian was formerly CTO of Open H2O, an ocean cleaning organization, and a founding board member of Sky Valley Habitat for Humanity.
