AJ thrives on the challenge of complex projects that streamline business operations and revitalize companies by delivering tangible results. For example, he led a successful $4 million, five-year investment project for a municipal Florida water utility. He also guided a large energy services company with four locations to $281 million in operating benefits over five years.
His secret to success: straight talk. He avoids consulting “speak” and bureaucracy to get right to the challenge at hand.
AJ’s industry expertise has contributed to new capabilities around the globe. He personally designed several training courses for Illinois Institute of Technology’s Smart Grid Education and Workforce Training Center, which has trained 8,000 leaders worldwide.
A first-generation college student in his family, AJ earned bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Bradley University. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma certified.
AJ is passionate about ensuring a well-rounded balance across mental, emotional, and physical wellness – for himself and his colleagues. He is a member of our Wellness Committee and a mentor and coach to many junior peers. Outside of work, AJ enjoys traveling and anything fitness related.
AJ is community-minded and dedicated to creating new opportunities by cultivating partnerships and mentoring emerging leaders. He does that through various organizations, including United Way’s Young Leaders and Beacon Council’s New Leaders Task Force.
