The West Monroe Fire Department has two stations. Station # 1 is located in the southern part of the city limits at 306 North 5th St. This station was built in 1956 and renovated in 2005. The renovations made to # 1 Station allowed the department to expand on our physical fitness training. Through a grant awarded from the Assistance to Firefighters Act we were able to purchase equipment for cardiovascular and strength/endurance training. The fitness room is now located on the second floor of the station . Station #2 is located in the Northern part of the city at 4343 Cypress St. This station was built in 2003.
