The City of West Monroe's Code Enforcement Office is responsible for enforcing laws that prohibit the existence of conditions that are deemed to be hazardous to public health, safety and welfare. Some of the areas of enforcement are Nuisance and Abandoned Automobiles, Grass and Weeds, Junk, Debris and Liquid Waste, Dangerous Structures, and Litter. The Code Enforcement Office is charged with identifying violations, citing responsible parties, and ensuring the violations are corrected.
